Flint River and Community Clean Up Basics:

Approximately $900 per clean-up site. This includes garbage collection, gloves, garbage bags, food and drinks for volunteers, T-shirts, and staff time.

The FRWC cleaned 19 sites in 2011

We anticipate cleaning 22 sites in 2012

The Flint River and Community Cleanup is Saturday, May 21^st. We plan to have a record crowd this year.

THANK YOU!

Thanks to our generous donors, we have more than exceeded our original goal of raising $3,000 and our secondary goal of raising $5,000 for our Flint River and Community Clean Up.

In total, we have raised $5,500!!

These funds stay right here in our community to cover the basic costs of tools, food, and tshirts for our volunteers. With the support of the sponsors listed below, we will remove 5,000 – 10,000 cubic feet of trash and debris from our community. We couldn’t do it without our generous sponsors and our dedicated volunteers.
