Flint River and Community Clean Up Basics:

Approximately $900 per clean-up site.  This includes garbage collection, gloves, garbage bags, food and drinks for volunteers, T-shirts, and staff time.

The FRWC cleaned 19 sites in 2011

We anticipate cleaning 22 sites in 2012

 

$1,000 Clean Up Champion

  • Adopt a site of your choice or let us recommend one for you
  • This level fully supports one cleanup site in your watershed
  • Champion and primary Sponsor listing in all relating press materials
  • Watershed Patron Membership in the FRWC
  • Listed in our newsletter four times with your logo and a short write up about your company
  • Company will receive a plaque to display at your establishment honoring you as a Watershed Patron for the FRWC
  • Listed on our Website as a Watershed Patron for one year

 $750 Clean Up Hero

  • This level will help us provide food and water to our volunteers at our community celebration
  • Hero Listing in all relating press materials
  • Watershed Protector Membership in the FRWC
  • Listed in our newsletter three times with your logo and a short write up about your company
  • Company will receive a plaque to display at your establishment honoring you as a Watershed Protector for the FRWC

$500 Clean Up Advocate

  • This level will help us provide garbage collection and garbage bags to our sites
  • Advocate listing in all relating press materials

Thanks to our generous donors, we have more than exceeded our original goal of raising $3,000 and our secondary goal of raising $5,000 for our Flint River and Community Clean Up.

In total, we have raised $5,500!!

These funds stay right here in our community to cover the basic costs of tools, food, and tshirts for our volunteers.   With the support of the sponsors listed below, we will remove 5,000 – 10,000 cubic feet of trash and debris from our community.  We couldn’t do it without our generous sponsors and our dedicated volunteers.
