Rediscover Our Flint River in a Kayak or Canoe
Bald eagles, great blue herons, kingfishers, dragonflies, turtles, walleye, bluegills, smallmouth bass and more awaits you! Thanks to the generous support of the Genesee County Drain Commissioner and the Genesee County Community Water Quality Consortium’s“Our Water” program, the Flint River Watershed Coalition hosts Flint River Paddles from May through September, and each one is a uniquely beautiful journey down a different part our Flint River. Paddle with us to explore the beauty and wonder of our healthy thriving Flint River on a guided tour.

Genesee County Parks’ Sites along the Flint River
Prices includes insurance, shuttling, water, snacks, and guides but there may be additional charges for some events depending upon shuttle service. PFD’s are required to be worn at all times on the water. All trips are scouted ahead of time. A limited number of canoes and kayaks are available to rent, so register early!

5/18 | 9 am | Tenacity Brewing to Mitson Blvd We are celebrating the start of our paddling season with a float from Tenacity Brewing (which shares the lot with Kayak FLint) to Mitson Blvd (Riverview Landing). Preregistration required by 5/15/19. Location: 119 N. Grand Traverse St., Flint.
