Fall is Coming!!
This is still the perfect time to get out and enjoy the beauty of our Watershed. We have lots of great opportunities for you.
Boating and Hiking See the side bar for information on the various paddling events and walks scheduled throughout the summer. Coming soon! Canoe/Kayak map of the Flint River. Or join up with the Flint River Paddlers on one of their trips.
Biking Join the Friends of the Flint River Trail on their weekly rides from the Flint Farmers Market. For more information, visit their website.
Fishing The Flint River has a fantastic fishery just waiting for you. Whether you catch and release, or are looking for your dinner, there are lots of opportunities for you. Be sure to check out the state's Fish Consumption Guide for information on how to safely eat all Great Lakes Fish. Click here to order your fishing license online.
