This annual FRWC event commemorates the progress made the year before and sets a path forward for the future. Join us each January for a special look into our programs, preview what's new in the coming year, and celebrate the impact incredible supporters and partners like you have on the Flint River watershed.
This cleanup event has been an April staple for over twenty years, bringing the community together to make a big impact on the Flint River and its watershed. Over the years, Flint River Watershed Coalition has joined forces with Genesee County Parks, the City of Flint, Kettering University and many others, to create one of the area’s largest cleanup efforts.
FRWC rocks out with ‘80s music and cars on the banks of the Flint River every summer. It's totally rad, wickedly tubular and THE event you don't want to miss. We've got big hair, big tunes, great food trucks, and awesome '80s cars. Fun for the entire family. All proceeds from the event support the work of FRWC and its mission to protect, promote, and improve the Flint River and its watershed.
Each fall, FRWC invites our members, volunteers, donors, partners, supporters, and program participants to attend a special breakfast as a way to say, "Thank you!" Our work wouldn't be possible without the support of our community, and this breakfast is a token of our appreciation for your commitment to the Flint River and its watershed.
